| Description: | Brandon Hall School is a college preparatory, personalized, co-educational Independent School serving Boarding and Day students in grades 5-12 from all over the world. Located in the Atlanta area on a 27 acre campus on the Chattahoochee River, Brandon Hall School is not just a school, but an educational family that develops and celebrates every child�s potential. We are seeking an inventive and creative teacher for Summer School TOEFL preparation. Requirements for this position include a Bachelor�s Degree in an Education related field as well as TOEFL certification. The knowledge and ability to teach English as a second language with proficiency is imperative. This is a 6 week course for Summer only. Administering both pre and post testing as well as utilizing measurable strategies to convey content will be imperative. The ingenuity to deliver material in a multi-sensory environment and create content to adapt to various learning styles will be a daily necessity. A willingness to embrace technology in the classroom is a must. Technology skills should include a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Apple equivalents. Adobe experience is a definite plus. Development and assessment of assignments in a digital format will be required along with daily management of a digital grade book. A proficiency working with Apple operating systems is preferred. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

| Duties: | -Interact with students in a professional and appropriate manner including, but not limited to, the use of appropriate professional boundaries
-Frequently contribute to the extra and/or co-curricular part of student life
-Adhere to the Teacher Performance Appraisal Instrument in each category with at or above standards (TPAI)
-Implement and document how technology is infused in their curriculum
-Participate in at least one authorized component of professional development

- Perform multiple tasks simultaneously and respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints in a confidential manner.
- Ability to apply principles of logic to a wide range of practical problems.
- Provide general supervision of the student population at all times while on campus.
- Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
-Ability to actively engage in other required physical activities with students.
